Dr. Allyson McCune, PT, DPT

Dr. Allyson, McCune, PT, DPT has 10+ years experience working with a variety of pre-operative, post-operative, and non-operative conditions of the neck, back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle.

In addition to her knowledge as a Physical Therapist, Dr. Allyson has a special interest and background in working with clients of all ages and fitness levels to help achieve their personal goals of becoming healthier and stronger.  Dr. Allyson believes in providing clients with a safe workout program with consideration of any past or current medical conditions to prevent injury and optimize results.

Unique from many other medical providers and fitness instructors, Dr. Allyson can relate to her clients on many levels because of her own weight loss of 80 lbs and focus on overall wellness.

​

Dr. Allyson McCune has dedicated much time and energy towards her own fitness journey and throughout the process, discovered that despite doing everything right, sometimes the mainstream exercises DON'T work for everyone.  Through this process and using her PT background, Dr. Allyson developed her own exercises and routines focused on glute, core and total body unconventional strengthening techniques to see REAL RESULTS.  Now Dr. Allyson is able to share with others her knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their own goals in fitness!

This type of approach not only decreases the risk of injury, but allows the client to achieve their fitness goals in a healthy way without taking time off to recover due to incorrect training methods.

Training with Dr. Allyson McCune offers the client a YOUnique experience because the treatment or workout session is focused on YOU and YOUR goals.

With many programs and exercises to choose from, Dr. Allyson plans to help you correctly identify the exercises that work best for YOU.  Her newest program creation includes exercise options with cutting edge glute and core exercises to increase glute strength and core stability- as these are often problem areas of weakness that can lead to back, hip, knee, ankle and other injuries!

Dr. Allyson is passionate about providing the client with a YOUnique approach with emphasis on finding the right combination of exercises for the individual client and their needs. In addition to her fitness knowledge, Dr. Allyson uses her medical background to create a safe program with consideration of past or current medical conditions/injuries.

Dr. Allyson believes in creating a program that is attainable and enjoyable for the client and fits within their schedule. The ultimate goal is to work smarter, not harder to find the right combination of exercises and training regimen to get RESULTS without spending hours in the gym.  It's about creating a healthy lifestyle, not a quick fix!
